From Dallas: 410 miles. Take US 287 to Amarillo, then go south on I-27
to Canyon. In Canyon, go west on US 60 for 30 miles.
From Oklahoma City: 303 miles. Take I-40 to Amarillo, then go south
to Canyon and west on US 60 to Hereford.
From Denver: 443 miles. Take I-25 to US 64 in Raton. Take US 64 to Dalhart,
then pick up US 385, 100 miles to Hereford. In addition to the
museum itself, other

the region's fascinating history. The nearby Panhandle-Plains
